MoT ‘07 - Coming Down the Mountain
MoT was a huge success this year. I’ve got a batch of photos up on Flickr, and here’s a little video I shot while coming down the mountain.
This is the first time I’ve used the suction cup mount on the outside of the car with the video camera. It held very well, but I still want to get a bullet cam that’s a little more asphalt-resistant…

Never mind asphalt… I’d be worried about the rocks from the unpaved section..!

I’m very happy with the mount, and I’ve seen it (or something very similar to it) in use on Mythbusters. So I think I did ok.
As for rocks, the speeds were fairly slow, and I was using a wide-angle adapter that protected the main lens from damage. I was definitely nervous the whole time, but more about it dropping off the car than due to rock damage!
